1. The Raphael Hotel
We love The Raphael for it’s romantic, elegant vibes. Built in 1927, it has lovely historic charm combined with all the modern amenities you need. The hotel features spacious guest rooms with luxury bedding, and in our experience, helpful staff.
Their on-site restaurant, Chaz on the Plaza, is one of the more romantic restaurants in the city, frequented by locals for date nights. In addition to exceptional menu offerings, the restaurant features live jazz music in their lounge.

2. Cascade Hotel
In the heart of Country Club Plaza is one of the newer properties, the Cascade Hotel. This boutique hotel offers a contemporary design and experience, tailored to the modern traveler. It’s located just steps away from The Plaza’s best shops and restaurants, including Kansas City’s newest chef collective, Strang Hall.
There are several parking garages on The Plaza offering free parking, but if you’re looking for convenience, Cascade Hotel does offer on-site garage parking for an additional fee.

3. The Fontaine Hotel
The Fontaine is a luxury boutique hotel situated on the western end of The Plaza. The Fontaine mirrors the focus on beautiful design and artwork that Country Club Plaza is known for. The hotel features custom mosaic insets, marble floors, intricately carved wood paneling, hand-blown Venetian glass chandeliers, and Renaissance artwork. Visitors looking for an elegant stay will be pleased with their time at The Fontaine – in fact, it was named one of the Top 20 Midwest Hotels by Conde Nast!
The Fontaine is a short walk into the heart of The Plaza, and also features a rooftop pool deck with private cabanas. In addition to the pool, guests can enjoy craft cocktails on the rooftop overlooking The Plaza’s beautiful Spanish-inspired architecture.
