Crossroads Arts District’s Best Hotels
If you’re considering a stay in this cultural enclave, these are three great hotel options.
1. Crossroads Hotel
Situated in a historic building that has been meticulously renovated, this boutique hotel is one of our favorites.
The Crossroads Hotel is beautifully appointed – walking into the lobby, you’ll stop to take in the stunning industrial-chic design with high ceilings and concrete floors.
From Crossroads Hotel, you’ll be within walking distance from several great restaurants, local distilleries, and Brewer’s Alley.
The hotel bar, XR, is bustling with locals in the evenings – chandeliers, leather and suede upholstery, creatively crafted cocktails. You’ll feel pretty swanky.
Percheron, the trendy rooftop bar, has panoramic views of the city skyline and the hotel’s in-house art installations.
2. Hotel Indigo
This boutique hotel offers a taste of the city’s rich art and cultural scene.
The hotel combines the neighborhood’s history with contemporary design and modern amenities.
True to its location, Hotel Indigo features local artwork throughout the hotel.
If you’re visiting for an artsy First Friday weekend, staying at Hotel Indigo is a great way to extend the creative vibe.
You’ll be within walking distance from the “Brewer’s Alley” in Crossroads Arts District, which is convenient if you plan to visit a few – or all eight – of them.
3. Loews Kansas City
Located on the northern end of Crossroads Arts District, Loews Hotel offers a sleek and contemporary ambiance.
This is the largest of our three recommendations and comes with all the amenities you could want.
The outdoor terrace complete with firepits and a city view pairs well with a nightcap.
The rooms are modern, well appointed and many offer a sweeping view of the city skyline.
This is more of an upscale option, but we think its worth it.
We hope you enjoy your stay in our beloved hometown!
