Visitors can enjoy a festive hayride to the fields to select their perfect Christmas tree. Additional offerings at the farm include a wide range of over 150 decorated farm-fresh Christmas wreaths, a Christmas store that is warmed by an old-style wood stove, holiday gifts and decorations. Complementary services include tree shaking, bailing, and attaching the tree to your car. The farm also offers free hot chocolate on weekends and Santa visits (call ahead for schedule).

Located on a 40-acre farm purchased in 1982, it has grown to include 25 acres of Scotch and White Pines, as well as Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, and Canaan Fir.

Upon arrival, visitors are greeted with a saw and directions to the fields where they can cut down their own tree or select from rows of pre-cut trees. The staff is attentive, offering to carry your tree from the field and handle all the post-cutting processes. These processes include shaking out dead needles, bailing the tree, and loading it onto your vehicle. Complimentary hot chocolate, hot cider, coffee, and cookies are available in the barn, where guests can also browse handmade wreaths, centerpieces, door swags, and ornaments.

11. Wilderson Christmas Tree Farm

The farm offers a variety of trees for visitors to choose and cut on their own. The majority of these are Virginia Pines, available in sizes ranging from 5 to 8 feet, perfect for any living room. Also available are Scotch Pines, White Pines, and Austrian Pines, each measuring between 5 to 7.5 feet, offering a splendid selection for different preferences and spaces.

For those who prefer pre-cut trees, Wilderson Tree Farm has a special selection of Balsam Firs and Fraser Firs, sourced from Wisconsin. These trees stand tall, with Balsam Firs ranging from 8.5 to 11 feet and Fraser Firs between 6.5 to 7.5 feet, providing an excellent choice for those looking for a tree with a little more height.

Please be aware, though, that the farm does not offer a service to tie trees onto customers’ cars.
