1. J. Rieger’s 24K Gold Masquerade

Neighborhood: East Bottoms
8:00pm – 1:00am

This New Year’s Eve, step into the opulent world of J. Rieger’s 24K Gold Masquerade Party, a celebration that promises glamour and glitz.

Immerse yourself in a night of exceptional entertainment, featuring awe-inspiring aerial performances by Voler – Thieves of Flight, guaranteed to leave you mesmerized. The musical landscape of the evening includes the sounds of Wonderfuzz echoing through The Monogram Lounge and DJ Cquence setting the vibe in the Atrium.

The event features multiple photo booth opportunities and a body glitter bar. There will be a midnight champagne toast.

There are two levels of admission:

  • General Admission ($150 + tax, gratuity): all inclusive access to the Monogram Lounge, Atrium, and Tasting Room as well as buffet and beverage package, including cocktails, draft beer, and wine.
  • All Access ($250 + tax, gratuity): all general admission access plus elevated food and bar offerings, access to Hey! Hey! Club and Electric Park Garden Bar, both featuring music.

2. NYE Live! at Power & Light District

NYE Live! at Power & Light is a sought after destination for NYE celebrations. The event provides exclusive access to over ten P&L bars and nightclubs, including a Silent Disco. The ticket ($185 + tax, fees) grants access to an all-inclusive experience:

  • Standard VIP Table ($2,000 + tax, fees): This ticket provides access for eight people to the first floor of the venue, where you’ll have access to a bar, dance floor, and DJ. At the table, you’ll have a bottle of Casa Azul Tequila, a bottle of champagne, and your choice of a third bottle.

5. Black Party XIX at The Truman

Black Party XIX has been a New Years Eve event for nearly twenty years. As a live music venue, The Truman has a sophisticated sound and lighting system, massive dance floor, and multiple bars, creating the perfect setting for a memorable celebration​​.

NYE at The Temple in Kansas City is in it’s fourteenth year. The event has a strict dress code policy, meant to ensure a classy and sophisticated atmosphere throughout the evening​​.

NYE at The Temple boasts the largest production in Kansas City with an array of lasers and a massive LED screen, ensuring a visually stunning experience. DJs will be spinning Top 40, House, Electronic, and Hip Hop tracks across three floors and eight party areas.

The longest open bar in the city runs for six hours, accompanied by the largest bottle service in the Midwest, featuring 55 tables in the newly renovated ‘Gold Ballroom’.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the annual Westport Pub Crawl. Party-goers are able to hop in and out of 10 bars and nightclubs across Westport with just one all-access pass ($39.00 + tax, fees)​.

The crawl starts with a pre-party event at Tin Roof, including exclusive drink specials and social meet-and-greet opportunities. 8. Your Playlist, Your Party at Warehouse on Broadway

9. NYE at Uptown Theater

NYE at The Uptown Theatre features DJs, a rock cover band, and a drag show. There will be three bars open and a laser light show at midnight.

Tickets are $60 in advance and $75 the day of.

New Years Eve, But With Less People

Are you wanting to do something beyond pajamas on your couch but large crowds and flashing lights not your thing? We’ve got you – below are some of the more understated NYE celebrations in KC.

1. Corvino Supper Club

Corvino is hosting a Barbie-themed NYE celebration. They’ll have their full menu with added specials and their signature live music. With an intimate, classy ambiance, NYE at Corvino won’t disappoint.

The reservation cost of $10 per person includes a welcome snack, entertainment, and a bubbly toast at midnight.

2. Ca Va Midnight in Paris + Midnight in KC

Midnight in Paris

Ring in the New Year, Paris time! This early New Year’s Eve celebration is perfect for those that want to be in bed before the ball drops at actual midnight. They’ll be toasting to the new year at 5:00pm.

Midnight in Kansas City

Beginning at 9:00pm, you can book a table at Ca Va for bubbly and small plates to celebrate the new year. Reservations require a $50/person deposit, which will be deducted from your final tab.

3. Music at Loews KC

Ring in the new year at Bar Stilwell in the Loews hotel! The live music from Malek Azrael Trio begins at 9:00pm.

4. The Levee

NYE at The Levee runs from 9pm – 2am and includes two drink package options.

Standard ($70): all wells and domestic beers
Premier ($100): all premium liquors and imports

The first band will perform from 5pm – 8pm, the second band from 10pm – 2am, and a DJ will play upstairs beginning at 10pm.
